EXHIBITION. There There, Post SCRIPT (Ireland)

Exhibition post SCRIPT
Camden Palace Hotel, Camden Quay, Cork
20 October–30 November, 2012

The works of Viviane Sassen will bring together over thirty international artists involved in six shows across Cork City. These exhibitions share as a common theme responses to the idea of “otherness”, which could be summed up as meditations on how the familiar and the unfamiliar are weaved together in everyday life. Their goal is to help re-imagine our relationship with each other and our surroundings. The work below (excerpt) will be presented during the exhibition called “post SCRIPT”.

Other contributing artists, who all used the post in an attempt to challenge the immediacy of “the now” include: Roger Ballen, Olivier Pin-Fat, Arja Hyytiäinen, Jessica Hines, Tiane Doan Na Champassak, Aaron Schumann, Gilles Roudiere, Danny Nicoletta, Clare Gallagher, Kai Olaf Hesse, April Gertler, Billy Quinn, Leticia Huckaby, Alessandra Capodacqua, Chris Rauchenberg, Mark Curran, Roy Arenella, Markéta Luskacova, Barry W. Hughes, Russell Joslin, Lydia Panas, Paul Corcoran, Ditte Haarløv Johnson, Jenny Matthews, Charlie Jouvet, Alison Nordstrom, Monika Merva, Vivan Keulards, Gabriele Galimberti, C.T.
